John McCain believes it is essential to be honest with the American people about the opportunities and risks that lie ahead. The American people deserve the truth from their leaders. They deserve a candid assessment of the progress made in the last year, of the serious difficulties that remain, and of the grave consequences of a reckless and irresponsible withdrawal.
Many Americans have given their lives so that America does not suffer the worst consequences of failure in Iraq. Doing the right thing in the heat of a political campaign is not always easy. But it is necessary.

As the election nears, hope seems lost. People wonder if McCain will pull through or not. The polls are showing a clear trend toward Obama, giving McCain plenty of work. The next presidential debate will be a huge determinant in who will be our next president. Through out the previous debates, no clear winner has been named but most are leaning toward Obama. If McCain can pull off the next debate, then he still has a shot at the presidency.

Last night, Biden and Palin had their only Vice Presidential debate. Many people expected Palin, the Alaskan governor, to stumble in the debate due to inexperience. Experts now say that she held her own against Biden and many call her the winner. They both were on the defense for their running mates and their plans. The most heated part was foreign policy, both attacking each others war planned.

People put John McCain’s age in a bad light, saying he is too old and will die soon. The same people are clearly misjudging the true power of age. The positives of an experienced age hold a greater weight to me than anything else. With age comes experience. McCain was a military hero, an effective representative, and a prominent senator. With his years of learning the political system and acting with in it since 1983, John McCain would make a far better president than Obama. With the shape that our country is in, and the fear of depression casting a shadow on everybody, we desperately need a strong experienced leader.

I think I have forgotten why we the united states invaded Iraq, weapons of mass destruction? Osama ben ladin? at first after the tragedy of 9/11, most poeple thought our countries safety could’nt be worse. Hijacking planes? that’s just the very beginning of what terrorists could accomplish to defeat our country. So apprently we have got rid of sudaam husain, and now we have vreated a “democracy” in the country of Iraq, but yet we still have the majority of the unitied states military over in ther middle east fighting for their country, but what is our country fighting for anymore? Peace in Iraq? You can’t just barge into a country, change there government type, and expect nothing to go wrong with the country ever, especially if it is the country that you are at war with. So we want to make peace in Iraq and eventually find osama bin ladin? for one we are not even in the right country if we want to catch Osama, and also it’s okay if we keep troops in Iraq, but where the real terrorists are at is in afghanistan, and Obama wants to get out of Iraq, send a portion of troops to afghanistan and fight the REAL war. end this war in iraq, catch Osama and get the hell out of there. Also the sad thing is, is that in Iraq quite a big portion of the american troops that are injured/killed are from road-side bombs, or suicide bombers, and that is horrible, this is not even a war, this is like luck of the draw wether you get blown up or not, vote for Obama get out of the middle east bring our troops home. and end this POINTLESS war.

The problem with education is the no child left behind plan there funding for it.College costs have grown nearly 40 percent in the past five years. The average graduate leaves college with over $19,000 in debt. obama will reform the no child behind police by starting funding by law. Obama and Biden will also improve NCLB’s accountability system so that we are supporting schools that need improvement, rather than punishing them. obama knows that education is in a critical peice of are countries future thats why he plans to reform the no child left behind plan.
